![]() In other words it is a lot of hassle for paying customer to use MODO. They also double charged users, kept charging them after the cancelation of a subscription. So they didn’t want to pay for software which wasn’t meeting their expectations and also implemented subscription, removed perpetual license(or made it ridiculously expensive, don’t remember), and implemented draconian licensing system where you must be online to use MODO which was failing a lot. So when Blender released 2.8 it was the first exodus to Blender because many MODO users were fed up by many things they were expecting from MODO but weren’t getting. They don’t invest in it pretty much at all. ![]() It stabilized a bit when Foundry finally bought them but based on a number of evidence Foundry doesn’t care about MODO either. ![]() And shortly after they were bought the first time. MODO started having issues with development after 902 I think. ![]() I don’t think it was publicly shared ever by the company but I know their community pretty well. ![]()
